Now that I would love to try! Intriguing drinks you post my dear!
I always have tons of mint in the summer. I am happy to know that I just drink it up!
Yes, this drink does have my name written all over it! Lovely refreshing drink for Summer.
Beautiful cocktail!! We made basil mojitos last summer. THey were delicious. Fun to experiment with herbs for cocktails.
I was just over at Chef E's site. She says she's headed your way. Keep the martinis cold.

hahah Velva...yup it is definitely calling my name...LOL!! That looks real good!!!
Velva, I prefer to make a mint sugar syrup to avoid the little mint bits in my drink and on my teeth! Nice refreshing combo with the cucumber.
I must try, lovely photo x
Mmmhmmm... yes, that's calling my name! I think we could be great friends :)
Excellent! You coming over tonight with one of these?
The cucumber intrigues me, I can bet that this is delicious!
Yum - I would definitely love to have this one. It's the perfect palate cleanser, errr.....at least that's what I'd tell myself;D
I love mojitos and I love martinis. Great combination, can't wait to try this.
I agree with the mint sugar syrup and then float a mint sprig on the cuke - this drink sounds killer!
Your husband sure can shake up a mean cocktail. You are one lucky woman.
Beautiful cocktail! Very nice click too!
I can always count on you to come up with an intriguing cocktail.

And you've come up with another winner. This looks wonderful!
How early is too early for that martini?
Best,
Bonnie

Oooo, I LOVE this, Velva!! I've been pondering drinks to serve at my housewarming on Sunday and this fits the bill beautifully! :-)
So refreshing, a perfect summer cocktail! Must try this.
Wow! What an appetizing drink. Nice light green.
Thank you!

I love a woman with a good cocktail recipe!
Oh, this is definitely calling my name! And would be perfect for this weekend when Boston is getting some super warm weather!
Oooh, this looks divine. Love the cucumber and mint going on here. Perfect for a nice summer evening.
YES!! It's calling my name...after such a long week (which isn't over yet)...I wish there was one waiting for me at home
pure refreshment, love it!
I have fresh mint in the fridge right now. And gin. I think I'll give this a try...tomorrow night!
Never had one with mint....very interesting!
Hey, that might make a great margarita substitute for chili. Made a great pot of chili last weekend--the recipe's on the blog.
Martinis are just a little too strong for me...I'm really more of a beer and wine person...but if I chug the first one...the 2nd one goes down fine...lol
wow this is really v interesting n invitin...mint flavor
A beautiful martini, so lovely with mint!
An attractive drink, for sure!
This is a hot drink in NYC right now and every bar/restaurant has a special name for it. There's the 'Jimmie' at Norwood (after Jimmie Hendricks) where they insist on making it with gin instead of vodka and countless other places serving it under different frou frou names. But you're right - at its heart it's simply a vodka mojito with cucumber, isn't it?
The cucumber really really makes it. I would imagine even cuke haters would find it irresistible. Thanks so much for sharing this great recipe - now I can make it at home and call it whatever I want:)

I love that frosty glass! I could go for one of these right now. So refreshing!
Calling my name indeed! I will try this when my friends come over tonight!
Have a good weekend Velva
Hy Velva,
First time here...Lovely collection of healthy recipes you have...Happy to follow u...Do drop in at my blog sometime...
That's a fantastic click!
wow if I only knew it was that easy I would have been a happy hour at home with a martini kind of gal! Lovely!
I have the most fertile mint plants in the world in my front yard so I'm always looking for new ways to use it.
Velva, this drink has my name all over it! :-) I love martinis! I grow spearmint and peppermint herbs in flower pots in my garden. Thanks!
Oooh! I want one now! This would go so good with that burger you made the other day.
Oh, delicious! I'm going to have to have one (or err, a few) of these before it gets too chilly round here. I have my own mint but sadly my lime is too much of a baby to give me any fruity goodness quite yet.
On a hot summers day I dont think there would be anything better! Love the cucumber! got some extra for my eyes in the morning???
Oh yes! This one is definitely calling my name!
I LOVE that you have an index!!!
ooh that sounds good. wonder how it would taste with white lightning. but I'll try it with gin first!
What a beautiful picture! I just wish it would hurry up and get warm enough here in Seattle to actually sit out on the patio with an icy cold drink!
Not sure about the sugar but trying it just as you suggest, except with Hendrick's Gin, which we usually drink with cucumbers but never thought of the mint, lime or sugar.
