This what our family does often, we eat.
The weather is perfect-warm enough to keep the Thai peppers a fiery red
But, cool enough to add some color to landscape
Two of my boys getting ready to chow down
Thanks for joining us. See you next Sunday.

Looks quite tasty!
Beautiful pictures--what is in that cheesy casserole? Looks yummy!
Corn bread looks great! There's nothing like a comfy, family gathering. Food and family, a perfect day!
There is nothing like family gathering together and eating good food. Your home looks like the place to be on Sunday:)
I love your Sunday suppers! Enjoy!
Everything looks so tasty and what a wonderful way to enjoy a Sunday! Love it :o)
One or two of those thai chilies might disappear if I was your neighbor, ha ha.
My favorite thing in the world is cooking and serving a meal to my family. Seems like we have a lot in common. Your blog is lovely and I am so happy you visited me on my blog. I hope you stop by again and perhaps decide to follow. Your corn bread is making my mouth water.
I love those red thai chilis. I'm going to have to plant some next year. Too far to drive to the oriental market. Everything looks so wonderful. I love family style buffet served meals.
Beautiful spread and photos! That cheese covered casserole looks divine and the cornbread too! And don't you just love it when the boys dig in?! Happy Halloween!
Nothing beats a delicious Sunday dinner with great company. Hope you are having an awesome Sunday.
The photos are beautiful. What's the casserole? It looks so delicious!!!
Happy Halloween!
Every guest must have felt like a guest of honour at this dinner! It looks wonderful :)
Food, friends and family, it doesn't get any better(except when the Gators win!).

Sunday Suppers with Velva...could be a family cookbook!
Nice.
Lovely. Namaste
What beautiful red chiles. Looks like great memories being made!
The flowers are so pretty....what a nice dinner that is, especiallu being able to sit on the porch and enjoy this nice weather. Lovely.
Every Sunday growing up was spent at my great aunt's or grandma's house, eating spaghetti, Italian sausage, meatballs, escarole salad, fresh Italian bread, pignola cookies! It's nice that you continue this sort of tradition with your own family, Velva, they will always remember these days.
I want some of that bread!!
So nice. And me too! Imma wanna some of that corn bread!
We love corn bread with bean soup. The chillis are so red and lovely.
Family & food are the perfect ingredients. Love those fiery peppers!
I added myself to follow your blog. You are more than welcome to visit mine and become a follower if you want to.
God Bless You :-)

I love this. Family, friends, and potluck. It doesn't get any better!
I want the recipe for that casserole and cornbread!!! Our fall is over. No more outdoors here.
Nothing as lovely as family getting together to eat...talk and enjoy the evening together.
Wish my group was closer.....
Nothing like a sunday feast with family. Good stuff.
Beautiful weather, delicious buffet, family and friends....that's something. :-))
Angie
Looks like a wonderful Sunday!
Thanks for sharing the photos.
Take care ♥
Wonderful food and family.....love that!
Mmm, what a lovely Sunday dinner, Velva. :-) The picture of those peppers is marvelous! The colors are wonderfully vibrant. :-)
This is my first visit to your blog and it's lovely! What is in that casserole dish? It looks divine! There is nothing better than feeding family and friends, I truly enjoy it. And I've come to the realization that I'm a "Feeder" I love to and have a need to feed people when they visit! If you'd like to "visit" me in New England, and my fairly new blog - I love company and new Followers are always welcome!
That's a perfect weekend!
Awe, that's a nice line up of food, Velva! Ooh, and are those peppers called 'Thai Peppers' at the garden shop? I'm in South Florida and I just sprouted some jalapenos. I need to start more peppers, as I hear they grow well here?!
What a lovely dinner, love the colors & I can just feel the "coziness" of this meal! Glad to share in your delicious Sunday :)
Looks a little like my house... Sunday brunch and dinner are pretty much a sure thing for my 3 grown-up kids! Like you, I luv to do it!
It sounds like a terrific family meal and time well spend together! Wonderful!
Those Thai peppers are beautiful! And the Sunday supper looks just perfect :)

Sounds like were missing out on a good time again, and some pepper snatching :)
Just lovely :) Wish I had a big family that did stuff like this!
