Never did garlic look so beautiful.
I just discovered that it is a year to the very day today that my dad was told there was nothing left for the doctors to do for his cancer. He passed away in June last year. I harvested his garlic. Now his children carry on the tradition of planting the garlic. Gardening is eternal. The photographer, Maureen Brady Johnson

"A picture says a thousand words"...this is a wonderful example of that very phrase. Maureen's comments above are touching and hopeful. My neighbor has shared with me the onions her dear husband planted faithfully every year. He has been gone many seasons now but she continues to save and plant in his memory. Now, I have saved those onions from my garden and will share with my children to plant in their gardens many miles away.....And the story goes on. xo
This is worthy of framing. Lovely shot and I sure love garlic.

Egyptians worshiped garlic, there might be something to that.
Fabulous photo, Velva. And I read the moving story behind it on Facebook.Your yogurt cake reminded me of a ricotta cake in texture. Really looks like a wonderful recipe!
