The first thing I thought when I saw these was someone's going to make the most of the cold weather and have some fun.

There are plenty of frozen ponds and lakes around here. The skates would find good use!

Best,
Bonnie

We may need these tonight! Stay warm, if you can. We had ice on the field this morning and need to get home before they close the bridge :-)

Lovely photo! I've always wanted to skate on an open pond. Too little snow in my life and not enough time.

Oh this makes me smile!! I have such happy memories of skating as a child. :-)

Growing up, everyone I knew had their own pair of skates. Here in California they're pretty much all rentals.

This photo brings back great childhood memories :)

Thanks for featuring my picture. I bought these skates this year after not owning skates since I was a teenager. And guess what, it was just like riding a bike! After a couple of rounds I had the rhythm. Brought back a lot of fond memories for me, too.

Dear Velva, Oh there is plenty of ice for someone to enjoy those skates.
Stay warm and safe. Blessings dear. Catherine xo

Beautiful! And I think most of us have had plenty of ice to enjoy those skates!

I could have done that last Weds. in my driveway!

Well, maybe not me....cause I can't ice skate and would have been on my bottom more than my feet.
